Found your blog googling for raw cheese cake....Hi! Found your blog googling for raw cheese cake. :) Nice to "meet" you! I did baby sign with my firstborn- taught his first sign at 6 mos (more) and he said his first word at 7 mos, was putting 2 words together by 15 mos and reading by 4. He is now in high school and learning real ASL as his foreign language and wants to be an interpreter. He's also taking German and picking it up easily. I also taught sign to my next child who ended up speech delayed, wasn't saying words yet at age 3. But he could communicate with sign. Suddenly at 3 he started speaking all at once, in sentences. He is now in high school and writes music, lyrics, poetry, prose, short stories and is working on a novel. All of my kids (7) have signed as babies- some more than others.

I also EC'ed my 3 girls (none of the boys though). THAT is quite an adventure! I'm happy knowing that we didn't contribute diapers to the landfill though. They used only 2-6 diapers a day so I didn't waste a lot of water washing either. I never had to scrub poop out of a diaper, just wash wet ones.Birthblessedhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14153536936015967711noreply@blogger.com
